The necklace and pendant are simple and understated by design. The design is meant to be something that will appeal to everyone no matter where they wear it. It looks looks great anywhere. Can be worn dressed up or worn more casually.
The glass pendant and necklace will last a lifetime with care. All of our necklaces will only be solid sterling silver. The glass enamel is fused onto a copper blank.
This is how traditional glass enamel is made. Layers of fine glass powder are sifted onto the copper blanks and fired at around 1475 degrees. Then they must be stoned and cleaned between each firing. On average it takes about 5-6 firings to make one pendant. The back of the pendant will be in the "steel" grey color of enamel. This is called the counter enamel. It's job is to even out the tension of the pendant. This layer will have some texture to it as the glass takes on the texture from the fiber fire cloth while enameling the front side. The front will be a shinny glass finish with a slight darker edge which does a nice job of visually framing the color.
We offer 3 popular styles of necklaces to choose from as well as two widths and 2 lengths. The pendant is about the size of a US penny or 3/4 of an inch. Over 30+ colors to chose from.
Your order(s) will come in a embossed faux suede envelope inside a paper slide out style gift box with the company name on it. There will also be a vellum envelope with a card explaining the meaning of our company and a small polishing cloth.
T.B.D. color choice. What does that mean as a color option you are wondering? It allows you to ask to see 3 samples next to each other after ordering your piece. Just select T.B.D. (to be determined) and message me the name of up to three colors with your order. I will send you a photo in a message showing them lined up in the order your sent them. Some colors look similar and it can help to see them next to one another. As hard as I try to get the sample color charts to look like the real thing, I just can't make it look exactly the same. Also with different monitors and settings you can only get close to the real color, even with photos, but I try my best. My goal is to make you happy and confident with your purchase.

Sizing details
Our sizes for necklaces are 16 inch and 18 inches. Both sizes will lay differently on each person depending on their individual body size. The best way to see which will be best for you is to use a piece of string cut to the length you are considering. Pull slightly down on it in the front to simulate the weight of a pendent.
Bracelet will run around 7 1/4 - 7 3/4 inches long. The toggle clasp bracelet will run slightly longer. Bracelets can be shortened by removing some designated links or made longer by inserting additional links that are provided. Any jeweler can do this quickly.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Each Bracelet and necklace will come in a paper drawer style box with a faux suede envelope. The box and the envelope will have our logo embossed on them. There will also be a small vellum envelope in each box. Inside the envelope will be a card about the meaning of enso and a small polishing cloth. A small plastic bag will contain extra silver links to expand your bracelet if needed.
Jewelry boxes will be placed inside a cardboard mailer with tissue paper for extra protection. Mailers will also be placed into a polybag to help protect your order. We can not guarantee that the mailer box will arrive in perfect condition. It's purpose is to protect the jewelry boxes.
Custom and personalized orders
We offer 3 styles of chains for necklaces, ball, snake and cable.
All are available in 16 or 18 inch lengths.
Each style will come in two different widths.
Glass pendants will come in two sizes. The larger is 3/4 of an inch in diameter (about the size of a penny) and the smaller is 5/8 of an inch (about the size of a dime).
Sterling silver resin pendents are slightly smaller that a dime. These are used for the bracelet charms and for resin pendants.
Bracelets have two widths of chain.
The larger has the choice of a lobster clasp or a toggle clasp.
The smaller width bracelet only comes with the lobster clasp.
There are different colors charts for glass and resin.
Care instructions
Our glass enamel pendants are made from real glass fused to copper. Some extra care is needed to make sure they last a long time.
The sterling pendant and bracelet charms with resin enamel are very durable.
With both you should not expose them to chemicals or extreme temperatures or temperature changes.
Glass enamel has been used for centuries in jewelry, but a little extra care is needed. Keep it in it's box.
As with any jewelry, you should try not to get lotion, perfume, on it. Keep it out of saltwater or a pool.
Resin should also not be left in a high uv environment. Leave it inside if going to the pool or working in the yard during the Summer.
Nothing is plated. Everything is solid sterling for a lifetime of use and beauty.
Can I get it engraved? What is the back like?
The glass back is a dark grey with a woven like texture from the firing cloth.
The silver resin charm/pendant has the logo "enso" on it from the casting, so there would be very little room for an engraving. This may be an option in the future though.
Can I get sample photos before I make a purchace?
Unfortunately there is only so much time in the day. We only offer the sample photo service for those who have purchased from us and just need a little more information to decide which color to chose.
Why do you not except returns or exchanges?
The simple answer is all of our enamels are custom made to order.
We do not get a large box from a factory with each color and can just swap them out.
There is a lot of time that goes into making your enamel piece. A glass enamel pendant may need to be fired five or six times.
Resin once bonded to the silver, is permanent.
We try our best to make sure you know exactly what you are getting and even allow you to see 3 samples next to each other to help you make your final decision.

Cancellations are accepted, but must be received with in two days of ordering. I will start making your order after the two days with no message.
What is the T.B.D. option under the color choices?
T.B.D. option on the color choices allows you to message me with 3 colors and I will send you a picture of them next to each other. Some colors are very similar and seeing them next to each other can help. The picture of the colors will be in the order you requested them from left to right. If you asked for blue, yellow and green that is how they will appear in the photo.
This service is only available for someone that has put in an order.
You seem to have a website and an Etsy store. Why is that?
I am trying out Etsy's Pattern stand alone ecommerce website to see how well it works. This is either something I will keep or may just use Etsy as the only site. Ensoenamels.com is the other site and will have the same items as the Etsy store. It's not fake or a scam, just me trying out different outlets to see which people prefer.
